Information we collect
- Account information, including your name, email address, username, user ID, profile details, sport preferences, and verification status.
- Content you provide, including messages, photos, captions, squads, games, tournaments, court information, reports, appeals, and support requests.
- Location information when you use nearby-court, discovery, check-in, or location-integrity features. Pick Up does not use location for unrelated continuous tracking.
- Device, notification, activity, diagnostics, and basic analytics information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
- Instructor application and identity information, including optional background-check materials when you choose to submit them.
How we use information
- Provide accounts, profiles, messaging, games, squads, tournaments, court discovery, rankings, notifications, and support.
- Personalize sport experiences, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our standards, investigate reports, and protect players.
- Maintain reliability, measure feature performance, comply with law, and communicate important account or policy updates.
How information is shared
Profile and activity information you choose to post may be visible to other players. Messages and shared content are visible to their intended participants.
We use service providers such as Firebase, Supabase, Google Maps/Places, and Expo/EAS to host, authenticate, store, deliver, and secure the service. They receive information needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to prevent harm, fraud, or abuse.
Pick Up does not sell your personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can update profile information, control device permissions and notifications, block players, report content, and delete your account from Account Management. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request.
Children and security
Pick Up is not intended for children under 13. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and report suspected account compromise promptly.
